HOME TO SCHOOL

NOVEMBER 2ND, 2011 - HOME: SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA

My journey began many long months ago back in November of 2011 back home in Sydney. I’m Luke Marsden, a student based in Sydney studying Industrial Design at the University of Technology, Sydney. For the past two and a half years, I've called UTS my home university and Sydney my home for all of my life. When this turning point approached in 2011, I was still as passionate about the course and design as when I began but it was in the late portion of 2011 that I had begun looking for a way to boost both my university and personal experience. It was at this point that I began to look beyond the walls of UTS and my home in Sydney as I knew it, to studying abroad affording the opportunity to gain experience living and studying design elsewhere and the great times this experience would offer. This is where it all began. The transition from home to school was about to take off.
