JUNE 8TH, 2012 - FINAL PREPARATIONS

As 2012 progressed, time seemed to vanish as the exchange drew closer and closer. As it came closer, the formalities of my journey arose and it really dawned on me how this is really going to happen. Many forms, fees and sessions later, formalities had to be completed - visas, passports, student forms. The dilemma of understanding and organizing housing for my home for the last 5 months of 2012 had confronted me and from several thousand kilometers away, I tried as much as I could to learn about where to stay, what to do, how to arrange it and all practical considerations that further emphasized how fast the exchange was approaching.
